Additional characters in memo field

Is there a way for the MX6 version to have more than 100 characters in the invoice memo field. The MX5 version's invoice memo field had more than 100 characters. We have customers that pay on a monthly basis. As a convenience to them, we like to make note of each invoices being paid for that particular month.
