Ability to take a payment and adjust to recurring from the reference number

So if a customer needs  a recurring invoice we have to manually key it in. If they scan at pos then we could adjust it on the dashboard without manually keying all the info. In our state if we do it manually we have to charge and pay sales tax for a service which is typically not taxed.
